Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?No, a referral is not needed to see a physiotherapist. You can book directly with us. However, if you're using a Medicare TCA Plan, DVA, or WorkCover, a referral from your GP is required.

What can I expect at my first physiotherapy appointment?Your initial session includes a thorough assessment, discussion of your symptoms and goals, hands-on treatment (if appropriate), and a tailored rehab or management plan.

How long is each physiotherapy session?Initial consultations are typically 40–60 minutes, and follow-up appointments are usually 20-30 minutes.

What should I wear to my appointment?Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. For example, bring shorts for a knee issue or a singlet for a shoulder concern.

Can I use my private health insurance?Yes, we have HICAPS available so you can claim on the spot if you have extras cover for physiotherapy.

Do you accept Medicare or EPC plans?Yes, we accept Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plans. You’ll need a referral from your GP, and it is completely bulk-billed- meaning there is no out of pocket expense.

Can you help with post-surgical rehabilitation?Yes, we regularly manage rehabilitation after surgeries such as ACL reconstructions, rotator cuff repairs, spinal surgery, and joint replacements.

How many sessions will I need?The number of sessions varies depending on your condition and goals. After your initial assessment, we’ll provide a clear treatment plan including expected timelines.

Where are you located and is parking available?We are located at 2026 Logan Road, Upper Mount Gravatt. Free underground secure parking is available on-site via the adjacent driveway to the building.

What is your cancellation policy?We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.

What qualifications do your practitioners have?Milo is fully qualified as an AHPRA-registered as well as an APA Member. Milo is further qualified in Dry Needling and Pilates.

Can I bring a support person or family member to my appointment?Of course. You’re welcome to bring someone with you if it makes you feel more comfortable.
